Lately, I feel like I'm a lot clumsier than usual. Case in point: two nights in a row, I've spilled my lemonade -- once on the couch, once in the office. Yesterday, I really raised the clumsiness bar by spilling a bowl of handmade glass ornaments and then stepping on them.

I was out walking yesterday, and my leg started to feel weird. Kind of achy, kind of weak, kind of tingly. It continued to bother me for the rest of the day. Whether standing or sitting, I still had that weird pain and numbness.

We have all gone through it and what a shocker it was. Do you remember? Startling, wasn't it? Were we ready for it? Probably not. We were still babies, but it came just the same. A normal part of life, puberty struck most of us around the ages of 11 or 12 (girls) and 13 or 14 (boys).
