Are you ready for the fish pedicure? Yes, you read that right. A spa in northern Virginia is offering a special treatment for dry, callused feet. Just dip your toes into a tank full of fish and they’ll nibble the dead, dry skin off your feet. Sounds great…? The fish in question is known as the doctor fish (officially, it’s called garra rufa). It’s Ok To Be Pamper Yourself

Yesterday I wrote about how important it is to take care of yourself. We all know that as mom’s we put ourselves last, as single moms sometimes we don’t even make the list. We need to be better about this, we are important and deserve to do things that make us feel good, even if they seem like trivial things. What women doesn’t love a day of beauty? Visiting Great Wolf Lodge

This past weekend my entire family, which includes not only our seven, but all of the cousins, aunts, uncles and grandma and papa, all went to Great Wolf Lodge for a family retreat. I can’t say it was relaxing in the traditional ‘retreat’ sense, but it was great fun! In case you’re not familiar, Great Wolf Lodge is a new brand of resort: the indoor water park.
